A 39-year-old man was arrested Monday, May 14, after exposing himself to a woman while sitting on a sliding board at a Temecula park, authorities said.
The woman and her two preschool-age children were waiting in her car for a friend at Serena Hills Park in the 40700 block of Walcott Lane about 3:30 p.m. when she saw the man sitting on a park bench, a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department news release said.
The man, later identified as 39-year-old Michael Worth Welch, exposed himself to the woman, the release said. He then moved from the park bench to the children’s play area closer to the woman’s vehicle and sat on the slide, continuing to expose himself, the release said.
The woman called the Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies arrested Welch on suspicion of indecent exposure, the release said.
Authorities ask that anyone with further information call the sheriff’s Southwest Station at 951-696-3000.
