A man was shot in the unincorporated community of Muscoy just before 6 p.m. Sunday, June 3, a San Bernardino County sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
Deputies went to West 1st Avenue and Vermont Street after people reported hearing shots fired there at 5:59 p.m., sheriff’s spokeswoman Jodi Miller said by phone. Meanwhile, a man showed up to an area hospital suffering from a gunshot wound, she said.
The extent of the victim’s injuries was not immediately known. There were no suspects early Sunday evening, Miller said.
