CATHEDRAL CITY: Man arrested in sex exploitation case

Palm Desert investigators said they arrested a man Tuesday, Nov. 6, on suspicion of sexually exploiting a child.

Palm Desert sheriff’s station investigators arrested David Roman, 34, of Hemet, around 3 p.m. in the 33500 block of Date Palm Drive in Cathedral City.

He is suspected of sexually exploiting a minor and had a felony warrant for his arrest in Arizona. Roman was allegedly sending sexually explicit material to a child. After he had arranged to meet the child, he was arrested and booked at Riverside County Jail in Indio.
