ANAHEIM – Two hit-and-run crashes left two male pedestrians dead Monday night and Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Monday night’s crash was reported at about 10:25 p.m. on the southbound Imperial Highway on-ramp to the westbound 91, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The male pedestrian was struck in a crosswalk and was pronounced dead at the scene, said CHP officer John Latosquin.

Tuesday morning, a body was reported in the roadway at about 5:25 a.m. at Anaheim Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue, said Anaheim police Sgt. William Jefferson. The man appeared to be in his 40s, police said.

Police are investigating the incident as a fatal hit-and-run, Jefferson said.

Eastbound lanes of Lincoln Avenue were closed at Anaheim Boulevard, Jefferson added.
