WESTMINSTER – Two people were stabbed and three others were injured during an altercation at a house party late Saturday night, police said.
Police said they made a traffic stop in the 15100 block of Clemente Street around 11:35 p.m. and noticed one of the passengers had a cut on a leg.
After an investigation, officers found out that a fight had broke out at a nearby home, resulting in several injuries, authorities said.
Police said witnesses told officials that a man was asked to leave the party and later returned with more people.
The group tried to force their way into the home while people tried to keep them out with a barricade, officials said.
Authorities said that several groups of people began physically fighting, during which two people were stabbed and three others were injured from broken glass.
Everyone injured is expected to survive, police said.
Officials said they have not made arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
