FOUNTAIN VALLEY – Police have arrested three men on suspicion of vandalizing trophies, pictures and other property on the Fountain Valley High School campus, officials said.

Former Fountain Valley High School students Nicholas Irwin of Huntington Beach, Michael Ross of Fountain Valley and Karlo Cirson of Westminster were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of felony vandalism, police said in a statement.

Staff from the school identified the three 21-year-olds from surveillance footage of the incident, according to police.

The men are accused of forcing their way into the high school on May 11 between 2 and 3:30 a.m. and destroying trophies, pictures and other items, police reported. Surveillance images show three men throwing those items into the school’s pool, according to police.

Police also said the vandals also attempted to cut a padlock on the school’s snack bar but were unsuccessful. The value of the damages is an estimated $1,085.

Fountain Valley High School is a closed, gated campus at 17816 Bushard St. Police say they believe the men jumped the school’s fence to gain access to the campus.
