Officials say the same man robbed a Fullerton bank twice.

FULLERTON – The FBI has released surveillance photos of a man they suspect twice robbed the same bank in Fullerton within the past five months.

The man, dubbed the “Big A bandit” because he wore an Angels baseball cap in both heists, held up a Bank of the West branch at 3021 Yorba Linda Blvd. last Friday and on May 10, said Laura Eimiller of the FBI.

In each robbery, the man passed a note to a bank teller demanding cash. No one was hurt in either robbery.

The robber, who was wearing glasses, stuffed money into a black nylon briefcase before fleeing the bank, Eimiller said.

He’s described as white, about 50 to 55 years old, with shoulder-length, “dirty blond” hair. He’s about 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall and weighs about 220 to 250 pounds, according to officials.
