ANAHEIM – An Anaheim woman missing for nearly a month has been found, family members said.
Debbie Pesqueira, 56, contacted police a day after family members sought the public’s help in locating her, said Nicole Pesqueira, Debbie’s daughter.
Family members reported Pesqueira missing Oct. 23 after she hadn’t been seen since early in the month. Pesqueira, who has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, was not believed to be taking her medication.
After she was located, Debbie Pesqueira indicated that her mental illness had gotten worse and that she had gone into “hiding,” Nicole Pesqueira said.
