LONG BEACH – Authorities arrested iconic punk rocker and professional skateboarder Duane Peters on suspicion of felony domestic violence early Saturday.
The Long Beach Police Department apprehended Peters shortly after midnight in the 4000 block of East Third Street, Sgt. Megan Zabel said.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department records show Peters was booked into jail around 6 a.m. Saturday.
Peters, 52, is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail at the Long Beach jail.
He’s due to be arraigned Tuesday, Zabel said.
Zabel declined to say who the victim of the domestic violence was or where it took place.
Known as the “Master of Disaster,” Peters is an Orange County native and singer for Orange County-based punk rock band U.S. Bombs.
The heavily tattooed Peters also is a professional skaterboarder and credited with innovating several skateboarding tricks.
